The Dr. Talbert Kernodle House is labeled A-3-7 in the Alamance County Historical Architecture Inventory catalog. In 1911, Dr. Charlie Kernodle purchased the house. The house is two-stories, side gabled with a center gable portico. There are seven marble fireplaces with three unusual chimneys.
